Estate Planning

Have You Thought About Leaving Junior League In Your Will?

Estate planning can be intimidating. In addition to family members and friends, many people choose to leave assets to charitable organizations, including Junior League, in their wills and trusts. You can ensure your legacy to the Des Moines metro continues with a gift to the Junior League of Des Moines through your will or trust. We welcome gifts of all sizes, and these will allow JLDM to continue to develop the potential of women and promote voluntarism in our community today and in the future.

We encourage our members – actives and sustainers alike – to consult with their estate planning attorney when planning a will or trust to ensure your bequest to JLDM receives a charitable deduction so your heirs do not have to pay an estate tax on your gift, and your gift may be fully received by JLDM.
